MoneyLab: Coining Alternatives considers digital experiments with revenue models, payment systems and currencies against the backdrop of ongoing global economic decline. Sounds scary right?
The Institute for Network Cultures in Amsterdam got in touch looking for a new identity for their Money Lab series in the form of a pitch. The pitch was answered with a short simple letter that contained a few questions before anything was explored. This wasn't what they were looking for or surely expecting, however, their interest had been piqued. They decided to proceed and work began on creating their new identity and visual language.
The Economic ecosystem works with systems and networks, it is reliant on myriad factors and variables to function and maintain equilibrium. The design language created for MoneyLab functions the same. All elements in the design system are required at all times to achieve its visual balance.

A simple conference blog was put together to agregate exterior resrouces and materials of relevant topics.
